1. Information we collect directly

When you join the Tenor Markets waitlist or use related features, we may collect the information you provide to us, including:

• your email address;
• your chosen waitlist name;
• your referral name or referral link;
• referral relationship information, such as the name or link used to join;
• waitlist timing information, such as when your early-access profile was completed;
• timestamps related to your waitlist entry, referral activity, or sign-in activity.

We do not ask for your legal name, government identification, home address, wallet seed phrase, private keys, payment card information, financial account details, or trading account details through the waitlist.

2. Waitlist names

Tenor Markets currently uses waitlist names for the waitlist experience. A waitlist name does not need to be your legal name.

We require waitlist names to be unique so that each waitlist page and referral identity can be clearly distinguished.

We may reject, remove, or change waitlist names that we believe are misleading, abusive, impersonating another person or organization, infringing, inappropriate, or harmful to Tenor Markets or other users.

3. Authentication and sign-in providers

If you choose to sign in using Google or another third-party authentication provider, that provider may process information connected to your account according to its own terms and privacy policy.

Tenor Markets uses authentication to help verify identity, manage access to waitlist pages, reduce duplicate entries, and protect the waitlist from abuse.

We do not use Google profile information for advertising, analytics, or user profiling. Where possible, Tenor Markets uses only the information needed for authentication and waitlist operation, such as email address, authentication identifier, and waitlist timing information.

Some authentication providers may make basic profile information available during the sign-in process. Tenor Markets does not intentionally use that information for the waitlist unless necessary for authentication, account management, security, or troubleshooting.

4. Information processed by service providers

We use trusted service providers to operate Tenor Markets. These providers help us host the website, manage authentication, store waitlist information, send emails, provide domain and email infrastructure, maintain service reliability, and protect against abuse.

These providers may process limited technical information as necessary to provide their services to us, such as:

• authentication events;
• timestamps;
• IP address;
• browser or device information;
• email delivery data;
• security logs;
• technical logs.

We do not use this technical information to build advertising profiles or sell personal information.

7. Analytics

We do not currently use Google Analytics, Vercel Analytics, PostHog, Plausible, or similar analytics tools.

If we add analytics in the future, we will update this Privacy Policy to explain what analytics provider we use, what information is collected or processed, why we use it, and whether users have any choices or opt-out options.

8. Sharing information

We do not sell your personal information.

We may share or make information available to trusted service providers that help us operate Tenor Markets, including providers for hosting, authentication, email delivery, database services, domain services, security, and infrastructure.

We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect the security of our services, to prevent abuse or fraud, to enforce our terms, or to protect our rights and the rights of others.

9. Data retention

We keep waitlist information for as long as necessary to operate the waitlist, manage referrals, prepare for launch, communicate with users, and maintain security.
